About the Pastor




Pastor Dool
Rev. Jack Dool

     Attended Texas Bible College and graduated with a Bachelor Theology degree in 1981. Before attending TBC, he faithfully attended the Hillsboro United Pentecostal Church, Hillsboro, Texas where he was very active in the ministry of the church ,and assisted in the building of a new church. While in Bible College he assisted in building a Home Missions church in Huffman, Texas

      After graduating from TBC, he started his own first Home Missions church in Taylor, Texas. He also assisted in building a Home Missions church in Hammond, La. for Pastor Berry Chandler.

      In 1984, Pastor and Mrs. Dool moved to Karnes City, Texas where they established a new Home Missions church and stayed there 11 years. In January 1994, they started a daughter work in New Braunfels and he pastored both churchs until January 1996 when they moved to New Braunfels.

      They celebrated their 10th year anniversary of Greater Life UPC in New Braunfels, last year and are continuing to the present date. Pastor Dool is still Senior Pastor of the Karnes City Church and Reverend Arthur Holt is the Associate Pastor.

      Pastor and Mrs. Dool have taught numerous home Bible studies and have witnessed over 200 people being saved through repentance, baptism in Jesus Name and the infilling of the Holy Ghost. Also, they have seen many miracles of healing and deliverance.

      Mrs. Joyce Dool is very active in all the church activities and assisting her husband. She is the music director, leader of the Ladies ministry, Sunday school teacher of the preteen class, secretary, hospital visitations, etc. She is a native of New Braunfels and graduate of NBHS.
